What can I say? I could do some stupid name-dropping as I have done in the past here. Roger Quigley indulges in and sings about lost love like Robert Wratten, is surrounded by an otherworldly, dreamy, floating guitar sound à la Vini Reilly, makes the time you listen to his music stand still like Nick Drake etc. Or I could write that I have listened to so much dull and average music in the last months that I was not prepared for this song. Not prepared for the calm maelstrom drawing me back into the realm of melancolia. A place where I have spent most time of my life. I am attracted to it but I know that I shouldn't stay there any longer. Had my dose. I like to think that I only go there still because of nostalgia. And that I have left it behind. Which may well be wishful thinking. Didn't I tell you I had nothing to say?

this morning the sky was dark grey, the clouds were low and it was raining. i almost wanted to take an umbrella to walk the five meters to my car. at lunch time it was still raining but the sky was clearing. i enjoyed walking in the rain and receiving the raindrops on my head. they were a promise instead of a punishment.

i am totally falling in love with slowdive. a band i totally missed out in the first half of the nineties. as i was too busy smoking herbal substances and talking about the mysteries of everyday life. we were enlightened by each other and ourselves every night but we forgot about it the next morning. maybe that is what life is about. slowdive have a blurry vision of music/life. which is quite a precise vision if you think of it.

sätze, in denen man von anfang an wörter durchstreicht. mit dem strich beginnt und dann das wort schreibt. eine der errungenschaften von html.

ein blog mit einem post pro tag. die uhrzeit der ersten zigarette und wie sie geschmeckt hat. wenn das blog nicht mehr aktualisiert wird, hat der schreiber es geschafft.

ich erinner mich nicht, jemals im traum geraucht zu haben. vielleicht ist das ja eine gute methode aufzuhören. das rauchen einfach in den traum verlagern.
