Endlich mal was Neues jenseits des langweiligen zweidimensionalen Puzzle-Genres. Simpel wie alle genialen Ideen.

Absinth ist ziemlich lecker. Schmeckt stark nach Lakritz. So ähnlich wie Pastis. Nur grüner und um einiges teurer. Die Zeremonie des Zuckerwürfelschmelzens macht den eigentlichen Unterschied. Wenn man einmal mit dem Zeug angefangen hat, kann man kaum noch aufhören. Der Kater hält sich nach meinen recht spärlichen Erfahrungen in Grenzen.

was hat mein internetanschluss bitteschön mit dem beschissenen öffentlich-rechtlichen fernsehprogramm zu tun? die paar erbärmlichen videostreams von ard und zdf, die ich mir sowieso nicht antue, sollen mich 12 öros extra im monat kosten? das ist gebührenfaschismus. also ich sperre die seiten von den öffentlich-rechtlichen jetzt von meinem computer aus und gut is.

wenn ich tim berners-lee wäre, würde ich von der verfickten gez patentgebühren für die nutzung des internets für die übertragung von videostreams verlangen.

The new 40GB iPod costs $399 in the US. Which is 0.827529*399= € 330.18 But in Germany the iPod costs € 429 (D). I am not giving 100 euros to Apple like that. No way. Why should the Europeans pay for the "low" prices in the States? Why should I support a monopoly? Fuck off, Apple.

So langsam habe ich die Faxen dicke mit denen. 2/3 der CDs, die ich da bestelle, scheinen nicht vorrätig. Außerdem kosten neue CDs jetzt 17,99 €. Und selbst CDs, die ich mal bestellt habe und die innerhalb von sechs oder mehr Wochen nicht geliefert werden konnten, sind weiterhin in der Datenbank. Ich bestell jetzt wieder bei Glitterhouse, die sind zwar auch nicht besonders schnell, aber nett und besorgen fast alles, was auf ihrer Seite steht. Und sind meistens auch noch so ca. eine Mark billiger. Bestellungen ab 50 € sind übrigens auch portofrei seit neuestem.

Amazon.de scored some points with me today. For the second time they were about to charge me for shipping though I had placed a shipping-free order. It turned out that one of the articles was not in stock, the order fell below the shipping-free threshold of 20 € and in my account it said that I had to pay the 3 € shipping costs. I even tried to change the order and put it together with another open one (with longer delivery time) but it was too late. At eight in the morning I send them an e-mail via their website telling them that I was extremely unsatisfied dissatisfied with their service and that they had lost me as a customer. At ten the excuse e-mail landed in my mailbox and they told me that their system does not handle this case properly and that the 3 € are refunded. Sometimes complaints work. But would they have refunded me without the complaint?
