Which of the following is your favourite album?

i agree 99%. though i must relisten to those laurie anderson albums. maybe the minutemen's double nickels on the dime but i don't have it and have only listened to a few songs. what is p16.d4 by the way?

P16.D4 - underground german band started early 80s - very like Faust in many ways but noisier. album from 84 = Kuhe In 1/2 Trauer

Kühe in Halbtrauer is a book by the German cult author Arno Schmidt. He was like a mixture of James Joyce and Thomas Pynchon. Living like a hermit (with his wife), working like an idiot, totally nuts. His texts are full of North German slang and often allude to other languages, psychoanalysis, sex, old forgotten classic books of the 18th century etc. and are interpreted by a circle of "disciples".

I really know less about German music than about Anglo-Saxon music. Have to check them out. I quite like Faust.
