Alex, the bit about Nader being "Bush's most loyal supporter" is too careless. A part of the problem lies in the two-party-system of the USA, where any third-party-candidate is seen as a "spoiler". (Bill Clinton probably wouldn't have become president without Ross Perot.) Nader's running is justified by the fact that at the last opinion polls 2 point something voters say that they're best represented by him. It remains to be seen how he influences the prospects of Kerry, but speaking of 2000: More former Democrats voted for Bush than for Nader (IIRC this applied to Florida). On the other hand I wasn't and still am not an adherent to Nader's slogan that Democrats and Republicans are practically the same. In all likelihood I'd vote for Kerry, though without much excitement.
