[journal] April 4, 2004 at 12:27:00 PM CEST Disconnection notice Tomorrow morning at 5.35 am I'll be off to Crete. My father and I are going to hike for nine days in the Western part of the island. So don't expect any updates here. If there will be any they won't be on music that's for sure. In the meantime you can read all the excellent sites in my blogroll on the right hand side bar. Freshest fruits always on top.

we stayed one night in sougia. it was the stop between the coast walk from paleochora and the walk up the agia irini gorge to the omalos plateau. the mixed fish plate at the anchorage was fabulous. dragon fish, red mullet (rotbarbe) and moray (muräne) amongst others. ... link

anchorage is the best place for fish in sougia. rest if you want has the best pastitsio and mussaka. rembetiko is the best place for everything else. it must still be very quiet there at this time of year... i love that village. ... link ... comment |
