isn't such a huge step. P.S. Not quite sure what Yorke sings there actually before "the raindrops". On Ateaseweb it says "oh", in the lyrics sheet there is only "the raindrops". It doesn't really matter but I prefer my interpretation.

Gulp! Never thought of that. But this is most definitely an album that gets better on repeated listening. Now that I've actually been a good little consumer and gone out and bought it, it sounds even better. ... link

me too i have been a good little consumer but radiohead's record company isn't the good big company i had wished it to be. the copy-protected cd does not run on my computer cd-rom drive. and i pretty much feel cheated (additionally the tracks are hardly different from the leaked versions as i wrote before). why does the stuff i can get for free via the internet work and the stuff i pay for doesn't? i suppose that in 5 years' time there won't be any record companies anymore. and i won't be unhappy if that came true. even the good and patient customer i am is pissed off enough to really really think first next time before he will buy another copy-protected cd. and anyways those protections have been cracked already. hail to the thief! ... link

a thought Not too long ago I got Spiritualized Complete Works Vol. 1. On it was a sticker that said it was copy-protected, and would play on audio CD players or PC's but not Macs. But: It played on my Mac, no problem. Not only that, but I was able to rip a couple of tracks for a friend. What gives? ... link ... comment |
