[deutsche sprache schwere sprache] February 1, 2006 at 9:30:00 PM CET Sogenannt oder so genannt. Kann mir mal jemand sagen wozu diese Wort(Kombination) gut ist? Am Besten, wenn man das anschließende Wort auch noch in Anführungsstriche setzt. Damit ist es doch gesagt, oder? Leute, die "sogenannt" benutzen finde ich sowas von unsympathisch. Was wollen die sagen? Wollen die sich distanzieren von dem nächsten Wort, das sie benutzen? Das überflüssigste Wort der deutschen Sprache if you ask me.

Naja, unter Umständen nutzt man das Wort tatsächlich um sich zu distanzieren. Im Rahmen einer Kritik zum Beispiel. Dann will man darauf hinweisen, dass der folgende Begriff zwar mehrheitlich genutzt wird, man selbst aber davon rein gar nix hält. ;) ... link

dann sollten sie das dann folgende wort einfach nicht in den mund nehmen und stattdessen das synonym benutzen, das ihnen gefällt. eine formulierung wie die sogenannte ddr oder ähnliches war völlig lächerlich. diederichsen benutzt das wort häufig. ich finde es einfach nur erbärmlich. ... link

gerade ein beispiel gefunden, wo das wort doch eventuell sinnvoll eingesetzt werden könnte. "sogenannte primitive kulturen". weil mir da jetzt kein gutes synonym einfällt. "kulturen von naturvölkern" trifft es nicht ganz und ist auch etwas umständlich. und doch habe ich bei sogenannt immer das gefühl, dass das wort was damit diskreditiert werden soll, dadurch dass man es dann ausspricht nur noch mehr verbreitet wird. das hat sowas vom öffnen der büchse der pandora. ach wahrscheinlich ist das nur so eine irrationale idiosynkrasie, dass ich das wort nicht mag. die zusammensetzung "sogenannte opposition" z.b. kann auch durchaus sinn machen. ... link
