Volume 005 is out. With tracks by Xiu Xiu, Text, The Brilliant Green, Ephemera, New Wet Kojak and Alias with Markus Acher plus some excellent writing on the music (via totally fuzzy).

Fripp's & Eno's new album arrived already today in my mail box. Speedy delivery from London! I am listening to it for the third time now and it keeps getting better and better. Reminding me of the Kosmische Musik of Tangerine Dream and Cluster in the early 70s. Some parts are quite intimidating and almost freak me out. But it is mostly slowly flowing and ebbing music. I like to listen to it in the background when doing something else like reading or writing. Somehow the music depresses me when I focus too much on it. It feels empty and vain on its own. But the throbbing shattering very slow earth beat in Lupus definitely has a subconscious effect on me.
