Primitivo is the best of all simple wines in the world after Retsina. The New World version, the red Zinfandel (excellent vineyard) can be even better by the way. They have this dark red wonder of concentrated grapes from Puglia chez Tengelmann now. For 3 euros. Forget Barolo, forget Brunello, forget Shiraz. This is it. Tonight.
